Preliminary Exercise

Target Audience
My Target audience is young adolescents ages ranging from 16-25, this is because the film follows the life of a young teenage girl, which could be relatable for younger viewers, as well as this, it is also for people that enjoy watching Thriller/Horror film. 

Setting
The film is set in a school after lesson time. The hallways are silent and empty, this creates an ideal setting for our preliminary film because it creates the atmosphere of fear and haunting.  

Plan:
Character 1 (Katie) stays behind after school to complete her media catchup work. When she's finished (gets a call from mum or dad to say they are outside waiting for her) she logs off her computer. She turns off all the lights in the room and walks out and down the hall towards the second set of doors. She feels the presence of another person following her down the hallway, she turns to look over her shoulder but sees no one. (see a over the shoulder shot of Anna looking towards Katie) Just as she's about to reach for the door handle, Character 2 (Anna) taps her on the shoulder, when Character 1 (Katie) turns to look behind her the bathroom door shuts (and there is no one in sight), she then turns fully to look towards the opposite end of the corridor after seeing nothing she then turns back to face towards the door. Character 2 (Anna) is standing directly in front of her, we have an over the shoulder shot of Character 1 (Katie) looking at Character 2 (Anna) and the film ends with Character 2 (Anna) asking a question 'Have you missed me?' following this, the screen will go black.

2. Character 2 (Anna Brown)

Shots:
The film will begin with a close up of Character 1 (Katie's) fingers on keyboard typing away. Then it will pan backwards to show the entire empty media room. 
Then a close up shot of her phone ringing, and freezing on the image of the table after Character 1 (Katie) had picked up her phone, then the phone is placed back in its former place. The camera is then placed on the floor for a low angled shot so that only Character 1 (Katie's) feet are present in the shot as she turns off her computer, as well as the lights and walks out of the room. 
The camera then moves to produce an over the shoulder shot showing Character 1 walking down the hall towards the second set of doors. 
After the over the shoulder shot a mid shot will follow from the front to show Character 1 (Katie) being watched by Character 2 (Anna) however, every time Character 1 (Katie) turns around to look behind her, and we have a shot of the bathroom door closing, but no one is visible.
This is then followed with an over the shoulder shot of Character 2 (Anna) watching Character 1 (Katie) walking down the hallway.
This is then followed by a eye line shot of Character 1 (Katie) turning round to open the door.
As Character 1 (Katie) has turned fully round we have a sudden cutaway shot of Character 2 (Anna) Standing right in front of Character 1 (Katie).
The ending of the film ends with Character 2 (Anna) asking 'Have you missed me' with a smile on her face.
