Consolidation: What I have learnt about how to approach the main task
03:56From working on my preliminary I have realised that organisation is key. To be able to produce a fully detailed and grade worthy film you have to make sure that everything is in order and that every description is fully detailed. The idea for the film, shots, music, actors, and story has to be detailed, descriptive and definite before beginning to plan and organise filming.
When coming to start filming the final film, all the scenes and settings must have been risk assessed and carefully though of before furthering in the filming. When filming you have to make sure that you use the right amount of shots to produce the right amount of atmosphere to set the tone of a media film. We have to make sure that the scenes and shots attract the viewers and keep them intrigued.
Other things to think about during the beginning of a movie is to think about the plot twist, where the mood in the atmosphere shifts to support the idea of the film being of the certain genre. If the film flat lines the whole time then it wont have much effect on the viewer, this is why it is important to make sure that the film has as many shots and an interesting storyline so that the audience are captured and interested in whats going on. All the scenes and shots need to be definitely confirmed so that the story flows and makes sense, rather than changing it throughout the filming of the film.
Many films have to be perfectly thought out with a clear understanding of what the end goal is. The ideas, scenes, settings, actors and scripts need to be carefully thought out so as not to miss any important details out. This is so that the entirety of the film is to its highest possible definition. As well as being able to set the atmosphere of the film and pushing the viewers to be involved and interested in the film and its actors, scenes and script.
