As the two girls resemble modern day 17 year olds their makeup will be very simple, no harsh colours and up to date with the current time. This consists of their own choice of makeup in which is light and bright. The two teenagers will also be in up to date styled clothing being jeans, tops and any form of jacket chosen on this day.

The props and equipment that we used are appropriate for us to be able to complete our film and to have the best quality of film that we had in mind for our film. We borrowed the equipment from school and made good use of the equipment that was available to us.

- We will be using a Panasonic HDC-SD100 camcorder in our film. This will give the high quality that we want in our film.
- We will use a Velbon CX 888 Tripod in our filming to create stable and still moving shots when we want to produce them.
- A phone camera will be used when incorporating the light for the darker shots of filming as the quality is not as good and will be easy to use when one of the girl runs up the stairs.
- We also used a RODE Videomic to make sure that we focused on the sounds needed for our films atmosphere
- We will also be using a 4GB and an 8GB Sandisk Memory Card, which will help to store all of our shots and scenes for our film.

For my final film I had to think of a good group of actors for my film. I took care when deciding who to choose for my film so that the theme of Horror/Thriller runs through the film and reflects off of each individual person and their characters roll in the film. Each person has a defined feature which I will highlight in my film.

For my final film I wanted to choose a well situated house in a small village with little inhabitants, surrounded with fields and forest. This is to help create the scene of Horror/Thriller. The pictures below help to create an idea of where the scenes will take place and in what kind of lighting and atmosphere. I want to stay as close to the conventions of a Horror/Thriller film so as to portray the same atmospheres and ideologies of a Thriller/Horror film. I want the scenes to be as suspenseful and full of exciting scenes that keep the viewers on their toes.
Horror/Thriller Film Mood Boards
The mood board above shows the different stereotypical ideas of a horror film. The fonts and colors of the titled films help to create the feel of a horror film. The titles have to be enticing and bold so as to stand out and encourage the viewers to want to watch the film. For the color scheme I chose black because it’s a strong color and when I use it, I intend to mainly use it for the background of the film. Black is a color we know to signify fear and death. Another color I have chosen is red, red is a sign of danger, blood, death, excitement and passion, I mainly want to use this for blood and persona color. I chose blue because it means peace, color of the sky and ocean, good will, calm and justice. I chose grey because it’s a neutral color that doesn’t make a character good or bad, dullness, gloom and fog. I have white because the ghost girl’s skin in pale and I will add a title with the same color to fit with the black background. It’s a color of good, will, peace and hope. The color also helps to signify the loss of the characters that were forgotten a long the course of the film.
This is my mood board for the thriller genre in which I have tried to convey the conventions of the genre and what it means to most thriller film viewers. I firstly started out by thinking of the films/trailers that have influenced me and then went on to think about the things they have in common.I thought about characters mostly- thinking about heroes/villains/victims and what they all seem to have in common (such as victims in thrillers seems to usually be women/children with light and/or blonde hair). I tried to convey these conventions through words that I thought fitted into the genre. I then thought about props and colors which I searched for on google images to portray other conventions I think can be found within the genre- such as handcuffed hands to represent the fact that most villains in thrillers are prisoners. I then thought about adding color to the board, adding black and white to convey how the heroes of thriller regularly try to bring justice to a violent and corrupted world. I also added red, to connote the violent nature of thrillers and the fact that a lot of innocent characters are usually murdered within these films. It also connotes the anger and brutal nature of the villains within these films, who are usually found to be relentless, unforgiving and despicable.

One Paragraph Synopsis
A teenage girl is asked to house sit for a new family in the village thinking it'll be fine, she agrees without knowing that then night would uncover some dark secrets about the house itself. She decides to invite a friend round to help her out and make the evening more exciting, as the night goes on and the girls start to get comfortable, she notices weird shadows and noises, thinking nothing of it she carries on with her friend forgetting about the noise, thinking that its the wind blowing against the house. One of the girls gets up to go and have a look at where the noise is coming from. Her friend realizes that she has been gone a while and she starts to search around the whole house and shouts her name, she thinks that she's just messing around and playing a game until she hears someone's footsteps coming from upstairs, She walks up stairs to go and look for her friend and she finds her possessed in the hallway....alone. The night turns into something non of the girls would imagine, who would go home alive. and who wouldn't return...
